Sadly Amy Winehouse died at 27 years old following a long drink and drugs problem. She is reported to have left £2 million pounds which is only a fraction of her previous wealth.
In the 2008 edition of the Sunday Times Rich List she was said to have £10 million in the bank.
So what happened to this vast wealth? Well, according to sources Amy spent a great deal of money on Drink, Drugs and partying. Apparently Amy also had a lot of hangers-on.
It’s very sad to think how amazing her life could have been if she had managed to beat the drink and drugs.
One of the Hospitals where Amy had been treated noted a significant rise in people booking in for rehabilitation treatments.
