This wonderful period drama is back on our screens in a new series. The first episode will air Sunday night (18th September) and the series will continue on Sundays just like the last series.
The first series of Downton Abby did amazingly well in terms of ratings. It gave us all something to look forward to each week, like the X Factor and Strictly Come Dancing did on Saturday’s.
Their sets are very well in keeping with the time period, every last button seems to be just right and I haven’t seen and 747 trails in the sky yet!
The first episode in series 2 of Downton Abbey sees quite a change in lifestyle for the whole house following the outbreak of World War One. There will be a surprise visitor for one of the staff and there will also be some shocking news for Lady Mary.
I think one of the great things about this series is the non-stop action, there’s always something happening whether it be with the staff or the Ladies. Very addictive.
