Call of duty: Black Ops, released today. So what’s new?

The eagerly awaited Call of Duty: Black Ops is released today. There are many new features including Wager matches, new weapons, killstreaks and many other enhancements.

The brand new Wager matches will give you the chance to earn COD points (CP). This is a free for all game where the players in the first three positions split the pot, everyone else gets nothing. It’s been made free for all to prevent groups of friends collaborating to make some easy CP.

There are four types of Wager matches, all very different from one another.

Sharpshooter is a match where everyone starts the game with the same arsenal, the guns will change at random points through the game.

Gun Game is awesome; you get more powerful weapons each time you make a kill, to win this game you either have to get through all the weapons on offer, or make the most kills.

Sticks & Stones this is a game where you need to make as many kills as possible in a set time. You start the game with a tomahawk, a blade firing knife, a crossbow and couple of exploding bolts. In this game you are able to bankrupt other players; taking away all there CP, simply hit them with the tomahawk.

One in the Chamber This game is very tense as you start with a knife and a handgun with just one bullet. If you manage to kill with the first shot you receive another bullet, you will only ever be carrying one bullet.
