The Canon PowerShot G12 is the new version of the G11 and comes with a host of new features including a Digic 4 processor and a 10 megapixel CCD sensor.
New features also include the 2.8 inch LCD screen and video recording at 720p with a frame rate of 24fps.

This compact camera comes with a 5x zoom lens. Macro photos are now better thanks to some hardware upgrades.

The Canon PowerShot now has the capability of RAW files in addition to the JPEG format. The camera comes with a lithium-ion rechargeable battery.

Quite expensive compared with other similar models.
