HTC Desire HD – Pros and Cons


The Desire HD looks to be a great addition to HTC’s line of smart phones. It is only available in Europe. The hardware is packing a punch; with a 1GHz Snapdragon processor made by Qualcomm, this is combined with 768MB of RAM.

The HTC Desire HD has a 4.3” LCD touch screen which is the same screen used in the HTC EVO 4G.

The Desire HD has an 8 megapixel camera with a LED flash; this will allow high resolution still photos. The camera is able to record video in 720p and this can be stored on the 1.5GB internal memory.

The 1GHz processor will ensure a fast and smooth experience when using the Android 2.2 operating system. The HTC Desire HD will be able to handle all the new demanding games and apps.

The Pros and Cons

Pros
Its the EVO 4G for Europe.
The ringer checks volume of surroundings, go’s quieter if picked up and mutes if flipped over.
Made from a single piece of aluminium.
720p recording and 8MP camera with duel flash.
Tabbed browsing on the internet and runs Adobe Flash.
Easy to use.
EBook reader is very handy.

Cons
The HTC Desire HD is quite a large phone.
It’s pretty expensive.
It doesn’t have a button just for the camera.
Battery life is a bit short.
16GB or 32GB of internal storage would have been good like the Iphone 4.
