A Passenger ferry has been struck by a tanker and subsequently 
capsized in a small river in Amsterdam.
The collision happened earlier this morning and it us currently unknown how many people have been injured or if there are any fatalaties. The only thing we know for certain is, people have been found in the water and divers are currently going through the ship to see if they can find anyone else.
The captain of the small ferry has also been reported missing with some people speculating he decided to go down with his ship honourably. The captain of the tanker is being questioned by police to find out exactly why the collision happened.
The small ferry is still sat upside down in the canal and will probably stay there until divers are confident no one else could be trapped inside. It is unknown how many people were on board but there were school children making their way in for the day.
